Donation Leads to Campus Expansion

The Children's Museum has recently begun its expansion project that includes building a replica of the 1897 Rickards House which was the first house built in Boca Raton for Captain T.M. Rickards. The replica will be composed of exhibit and program spaces, Jason's Music Hall, as well as a full resource library, meeting areas and administrative offices. This will essentially allow us to expand from one building to THREE in a very short time!

In addition, we have plans to construct a new building on our campus. It will include a television studio, a craft/activities room, a computer lab, and a high-tech interactive theater.

Not only are we expanding with the donation of the Raulerson House, we also have more big plans for the near future. We have approval to construct a new building on our campus. One that will include a television studio, a craft/activities room, a computer lab, and a high-tech interactive theater.

We will be posting more artists renderings showing the interior spaces of the new building soon, so please check back with us.

Take a look at a short video that explains our plans (click the play button to start)...
